PowerNet Credit Union offers EarlyPay. What is EarlyPay? It’s a service that gives you early access to payments that your employer or other payor such as Social Security sends to you through direct deposit. Most times, the payor actually transmits the payment information a day or two earlier than they send the funds or cash.
Financial institutions like PowerNet Credit Union typically store the payment information, then post the payment to the account one or two days later when we receive the funds. With PowerNet EarlyPay, you’ll be able to post the funds to your account when we receive the payment information. You will be charged a $1 fee each time you ask us to post a direct deposit early.
However, you can avoid the $1 fee by using EarlyPay through our PowerNet It’sMe247 Online Banking or Mobile Banking. When you logon to PowerNet It’sMe247 Online Banking or Mobile Banking, you’ll see a banner saying you have a pending deposit. Click the “Review” button and you’ll be taken to the “Pending Electronics Deposit” page. Just click on the “Post Now” button and your payment will be posted to your account immediately.
