General Tips

The following are general tips to help you customize your new PowerNet Home Banking service. Click on the “Account Options” tab at the top:

  • In the Personal Options, you can

    • Select Preferences to:

      • Set which tab opens when you log into the system

      • Set up to 5 accounts to list on the “Overview” tab

    • Select Account list to:

      • Rename accounts with a “nickname” for a more descriptive title for an account rather than the account number. As an example, if you have a linked account such as your spouse’s savings account, instead of it listed as “1234=00” you can change it to “Mary’s Savings”. Just remember, your account sort order is by numeric then alpha.

  • In the Secure Mail section, you can

    • Send a request to stop payment on a share draft or check

    • Send a request to access another account you are a joint owner of on your home banking

    • Send a general message to PowerNet

    • Check or save messages

  • Alerts

    • Set up a variety of alerts to be sent to up to 3 email addresses.

    • Set up a reminder emails (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.)
